"KARMA is What?"

posted by Richard

Gassho Zenner,

I don't know what a Hindu thing is.

Karma is action, volitional action of mind and body.
Karma Vipaka is the result of karma.

DNA is just 4 nucleotides on a spiral protein strand that carries information for one componant of the 5 aggregates that we are made of. DNA is the building block for proteins, cells, tissue, organs, the body. It is just chemicals that make bodies.
The physical is one of the 5 aggregates of attachment that make our Human form. The others 4 are conciousness, feelings, perceptions, and mental formations.

Karma is the energy that connects componants based on emptiness. Karmic Energy = Mass times the speed of light to infinity.
The master spends lifetimes burning off the ignorance of Karmic energy and opening the karmic flower of true understanding, some like to call it Satori, Nirvana, whatever.

You guys should read "What the Buddha Taught" by Rahula Walpola.
You don't have the basics of Buddha Dharma down.
Do you even meditate or contamplate the phenomenon?

Karma = Action, the action changes with energies that have no names in English. You have to go to the Pali Canons.
There is no first cause, trying to trace the results of karma, are two imponderables Buddha Gotama warned of. It will cause vexation and even insanity. Just be. Your intellectual wallowing in Buddha Dharma is just sound and fury, meaning nothing. So get to nowhere and you will be there.

Many lifetimes of study, a short curriculum to Understanding.

Metta,

Richard
