Gassho Shine,You cannot escape samsara. Samsara is always here, it is prevalent, it is the way. With true understanding of the universe in it's vastness relative to an atom and a blackhole it gives one the understanding of relativity. We are samsara.
Attain Nirvana? You already have it. You are full of it; you just don't know it. Your mind is clouded in conditions. Just asking the question you ask is a mask hiding fear of the duality, as if samsara is bad and we must escape it and Nirvana is good and we must get there. They are both the same thing. You must experience this interconnection and understand dependent origination. When you are with the connection that spans the universe you see beyond duality. You are beyond duality. Buddha Dharma is using understanding to see every atom or every galaxie as that which is inside each of our cells, a universe. Then we are there. No words can explain, no words.
I'm so thrilled you folks found this site. A friend Jim set it up years ago. If you schroll down you will see some amazing discussions when Hogen was with us. He passed away 3 years ago. He was a true Zen Master in the Soto Zen Sect of Japan. He was the first westerner to study at the famous Soto Temple, Tennai.
Don't try to escape, it will cause attachment and desire for this Nirvana and all you will bet is Dukkha: suffering.Deep Bows My Dharma Friend,
Richard
