"Your house vs my house"

Gassho Zenner,

firstly i would like to thank you for staying with me in this exploration of ultimate truth, if the teachings i have recieved are true then we plant the finest karmic seeds’ Pure karma; Any movement of the mind that understands how things really exist is an act whose merit will perpetuate infinitly, to perform a good karma with this mind as main mind is to sow the seeds of Buddhahood.

There are few activities greater than disscussion of emptiness. One that is greater is to teach the correct view to another. It is my sincere wish that in exploreing this holy subject that we are led to a greater understanding, may that understanding lead to a direct realisation of emptiness, and may we come to teach this panacea to those ready to recieve its true message.

I say this with all sincerity and dedication.

Come lets “see”

“concepts are like a scaffold, that can be used to build a house...but you can not live in the scaffold.
You can describe to me the taste of,.. say a fruit juice, and I may think that I understand you,
but this understanding is not real,it is conceptual, only when I taste it,than I will know what you are talking about.”

It would appear that the house you seek to build does not exist! There are no bricks that exist in a way that is different to your scaffold, there is no door to open and no person to open it. So how does your house look, does it have any appearance? It would appear that you are about to fall into the extreme of nihilism.

The house I offer for your approval does not exist inherently, it has no self existence; it is a collection of parts put together onto which I impute the label House. My mind takes “house” and projects that reality onto the parts. The collection of parts is the basis for my projection. The projection is caused by my past karma ripening and appearing as the world?self i experience.
Now it is true that if examined closely we will find the parts of the parts etc. But the Masters say, leave it alone there..There is a nominal “me” that experiences the “house” there is a me that types here to talk to you there.

That nominal me is the me that will realise directly emptiness, the nominal you is the you that will find themselves in a Buddha paradise in a perpetual state of bliss and wisdom knowing all things.
That to will be a projection and you will see the fact that all appearances are rising due to past karma, only for a Buddha it isn’t karma but a collection of merit that causes the bodies of the Buddha.
The Buddha experiences the same world as ordinary beings but his projections force him to look down and see Buddha, he knows it is a projection but it is a cool projection right?

You speak of tasting a thing, quite right.
I can tell you about Capetown describe how it was for me, you will get a mental image of it but it wont be the same as being there. But if I describe its qualities and positive attributes it might inspire you to go there at which point you will find someone who can put you on a plane with a ticket give you good instructions about what to do at the other side and wave good bye! Once you have been we can talk and compare experiences then set about finding a way to guide others toward the door to experience for themselves.A way that is clear precise and trustworthy, not obscure mystical and unfindable.

3 ways to know a thing
1) Trust a persons description,
2) Use deductive reasoning.
3) Have direct experience.

With out question the third is the most valuable, but one can get a valid perception from all 3. Maybe a mixture of 1 and 2 will lead to 3.
