"view of karma"

"You were born, with a definite set of DNA,born in a certain country, race, religion, you were influenced by people around you,by your education, and basically grew up to be a ZOMBIE,a follower, with opinions and ideas, the collection of all these things is YOUR KARMA,it keeps on pushing you..nothing occult and no mysteries here."

I would accept that the above is the result of Karma.

i am making the assumption that you accept cause an effect. That "things" do not just appear from nothing. So what is it that causes one person to be born into favourable conditions and another into not so favourable.

Two students sit and take instruction from same teacher on method to meditate one achieves satori the other falls asleep. Why?
Is it the method that caused the satori,or was there another factor causing the result?

You say Karma is illusory. All phenomena are lllusory but things still work. My illusory body will get messed up by an illusory car if i step into the illusory freeway.

One should have questions and maybe some anxieties about this phenomenna as it appears to be the thing throwing the projection of your "dream" out there if you dont understand that, then that dream will turn to a nightmare!

In my dream i might see a Buddha out there teaching me how to reach paradise, another might see the same being as a phoney occult figure.

What is causing the contradictory views?
