""Take your shoes off""

Gassho Ann,

My family got deals on oil so I don't remember much freaking out by my parents in that area. But it is warmer on the Connecticut Coast just east of Hew Haven. We were a big drinking family. Grandpa owned a brewery before proibition and stayed in the business bootlegging then in 1933 got into an Auto Dealership, and bought seven houses around his Automobile Agency for his sons so he could keep an eye on them. I lived with my mother with the grandpa and grandma. Now that's a Novel. My grandmother was sure the Cossacks were coming at any time though.
A lot of smoking, drinking, greed, fighting alway over $$$$$. Speaking of Smoking" The movies of that era (the 50's) showed Doctors operating with a cigarete in his mouth.
Any way we must use what is right in front of us to stay warm. The sun and tides and wind. We have lots of wind on this coast just south of Boston.

If your Daughter wants a tour of Plymouth the commuter train comes right to North Plymouth. I keep my fishing boat about 300 yards from the train stop. What school does she attend? And when are you coming for a visit?
My wife loves Nova Scotia and My daughter has attended weddings in the Bay of fundi area. A lot of kids come down to attend Umass for Arborculture, which is what she just got a BS for at UMass Amherst.
The Canadian guys know logging and the management and they climb real well. So she works or Interns with a lot of people from your area.
My daughter is a National Champion climber for the Iternational society of Arborculture.
Check out the web site. Just google what follows: NEC-ISA Tree Climbing competion.
My daughter is Marcy, the winner. If you can't find it let me know. They are leaving Wednesday of this week for Saint Louis MO. for the International Competition.
We are proud of our kid?

Metta,
Richard
