How nice you hear from you. 
You are absolutely right! I tend to be a wee bit judgmental... and I'm judging myself in saying that!! DARN!! 
But in spite of how I sound, I am happy and do recognize how incredibly fortunate I am. I don't dwell particularly on Hogen. There are a few things he taught me about life and about myself which I do think about each and every day and I do acknowledge him in those things, but when I think of Hogen I smile. The man still brings me joy. That's a quality kind of life he lived to be still bringing joy to people two years after passing.
