Hi All
There are many ways to view the situation as it appears in Tibet right now, there is no doubt that a big spot light is being shone on the situation and any awareness will create a momentum for change.
We must gaurd agianst feeling resentment for the chinese as they to have a wish to be happy and free from suffering.They act in ignorance; that is they are unaware of the consequance of their actions. And for that reason they deserve our love and compassion, as it would seem they sow seed for a future in which they will suffer.
Who knows, there is the possibility that all the events are the show of enlightened beings; all playing roles on this stage of life. Just as we can sit and analyse the meaning of a book or play to extrapolate the message or meaning behind the story, there is a chance that we are being offered valuable lessons. It is less clear where the stage ends and the audiance sit!
There are so many positive things that we can directly attribute to the invasion of Tibet by the Chinese; there are holy beings walking the streeets of the west offering Dharma classes, Dharma handed down from the most wonderfull spiritual universities in the world which up untill the invasion were contained in the Land of snow mountains. Those universities have moved into India, USA, UK etc. Many books destroyed but the Dharma contained in the hearts and minds of masters in the form of realisations is alive in the west being passed on to students hungry for this precious jewel.

A special teacher; His Holiness Dalai Lama has been brought into the homes of many this last week or so, his message of non violence his wonderfull example of the best aspect of humanity.

We might do well to watch this man and the way he handles himself we have so much to learn.
