Hi Richard,I'll get started on the files right away. I have stack of floppy discs here with his stuff on it. Luckily I still have a computer with a floppy drive but I know newer computers often don't have floppy drives anymore so I guess it's a good thing that I move these things over to CD now. I might not be able to later. I don't have those particular notes though. Sorry.
Your hip sounds miserable. I hope your recovery from the surgery goes off without a hitch. if you can manage some time south once you get back on your feet, I highly recommend it. My father-in-law fell and broke his hip a year ago in front if his condo in Florida. He had several pins put in and his recovery was fairly fast because he was able to get out and walk outside in the warm sun without fear of slipping on an icy sidewalk. He's turning 85 next week. He and my mother-in-law have been going to Florida for the winter for years now and we all believe that is the reason for their active longevity. They both still play golf daily. Some day I would like to spend the winters in the south, but probably not Florida. I'm not a big Florida fan. Too many people, too many cars, too many shopping malls. I prefer something more remote. I think I need to win the lottery first though
