I have a lot of the files Hogen emailed from his "Jottings" still on my computer but not the complete set. Also have saved on floppys a bunch of his essays. They might be of the same thing as the files I still have that he sent in email. I'll have to check to see what everything is.

Would you like me to try to compile them and send them to you? It would be my pleasure and it would be a great excuse for me to go through all his great works again. I just just tried a couple of the floppys and one didn't work because it apparently wasn't formatted correctly but I could get as much of them as possible on a CD and snail mail it to you. Hogen's work is wonderful. I still miss that man very much. (Yea, yea.. I know.. the whole attachment thing weighs me down but I find missing him is better than not missing him)

Sorry about your lay-off and your hip. I believe the doctors don't give you much of a chance to lie around after hip replacement surgery so I hope you wont be too long off your feet.

I'm not much of a fan of winter anymore, it seems. A few years back we went to Dominican Republic and I was introduced to the warm sandy Caribbean. I discovered I'm much happier as a sandy, warm beach person than a snowy, cold snow person. This year we went to Mexico for a week right after New Years because our daughter didn't have to go back to school until the 22nd of January. It was a last minute trip and it was lovely to get away. Do you think you might have a chance to go enjoy some warm weather before your surgery?
